Vadodara → Borsad Via Vasad
Yog Niketan, Vadodara → Borsad Toll (via Vasad) → Yog Niketan, Vadodara

Elevation Profile
28–54 m over 72.1 kmThe Ride
The ride starts from Yog Niketan and heads out of Vadodara towards Chhani and Vasad. The opening kilometres are about finding your rhythm and settling into the ride before reaching the point where the route really starts to change character.
Vasad is that turning point.
Where the Ride Opens Up
From Vasad, the route turns towards Tarapur, and this is where the road starts to feel made for cycling.
Long, flowing stretches, gentle elevations and open surroundings create a completely different riding experience. There are no demanding climbs to break your rhythm; instead, the road gives you the opportunity to stay on the pedals, carry momentum and gradually increase the pace.
This is the section where the ride can naturally turn into a sprint-friendly stretch. Pick a gear, settle into the road and let the legs decide how much speed you want to carry. The gentle rises add just enough variation without taking away from the flow.
And then there is the countryside. The open surroundings, changing views and quieter stretches make it easy to forget how close you are to the city you started from. It is one of those sections where the road itself becomes part of the reason for doing the ride.
Borsad — The Natural Break
After the faster and more enjoyable stretches around the Vasad–Tarapur section, Borsad provides a good opportunity to back off the pace.
Gallops at Borsad makes a comfortable break point—an opportunity to get off the bike, recharge and spend some time away from the saddle.
For something quicker, Borsad Toll is the kind of roadside stop that fits perfectly into a cycling ride. A cup of chai, something to eat and a few minutes to recover can be all that is needed before getting back on the road.
The Character of the Route
What makes this section stand out is the contrast. You start by working your way out of Vadodara, reach Vasad, and then suddenly find yourself on roads that invite you to ride rather than simply travel.
The Vasad–Tarapur stretch rewards riders who enjoy speed, while the surrounding countryside keeps the experience relaxed between the faster sections. Add a Borsad break and some roadside chai, and the route develops its own rhythm.
It is a ride where the road, rather than the destination, becomes the attraction.
